Albany Consortium for Instructional Design and Theory
With Dr. Robert Bangert-Drowns, Ph.D., Dean Emeritus, School of Education
This Spring 2019 semester, the Albany Consortium for Instructional Design and Theory (ACRIDAT) celebrates its 30th year of weekly gatherings. They host lively conversations on all matters related to learning and instruction—a broad and diverse domain including issues around STEM education, language learning, educational technology, online learning, serious games, research design in education, theories of learning and thinking and their facilitation, measurement of learning and factors that contribute to learning, literacy development, social studies education, individual differences in learning, etc. You are welcome to join them. Bring a lunch and an open mind!
They welcome contributions from faculty researchers, university staff members, students, and teachers and leaders in the community working in the area of learning and instruction. If you would like to present your work or facilitate a conversation (or if you know of someone who might want to present or might benefit from peer feedback), please send Dr. Robert Bangert-Drowns ([email protected]) your name and a proposed title. Below are the dates they plan to meet. Let him know if you have a preference. (Indicating more than one preference makes the scheduling easier!)
